Ryo Osera takes the stage at Fukuoka × Singapore Innovation Mining Day 2026

On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Ryo Osera, CEO of yugyo inc., took the stage at Fukuoka × Singapore Innovation Mining Day 2026, hosted by the City of Fukuoka at 80RR Fintech Hub SG in Singapore.

The programme is designed to find companies delivering positive social and environmental impact, and to support their growth from Fukuoka to the world. Finalists from two categories — Biotechnology / Life Science / Medical / Healthcare, and Finance — pitched in a format of a five-minute presentation followed by a five-minute Q&A.

There, Osera introduced RAMEN TECH 2026, taking place across Fukuoka from October 7 to 11, 2026. Winning companies receive an invitation to Fukuoka together with the opportunity to present at RAMEN TECH. We spoke with founders, venture capitalists and people building Singapore's startup support ecosystem, exchanging views on what Fukuoka offers and how teams choose their base in Asia.

RAMEN TECH is a global startup event — and more than that, a co-creation platform where stakeholders from industry, government, academia and the wider public gather in Fukuoka and take part in the city's emerging ecosystem, whether or not they work with startups themselves.
