NAGASAKI NOMAD FEST covered by NBC, NCC and the Nagasaki Shimbun — Digital Nomad Nagasaki also featured

We are pleased to announce that NAGASAKI NOMAD FEST, held at the Nagasaki Prefectural Government Office on Monday, October 19, 2026, was covered by NBC Nagasaki Broadcasting, NCC Nagasaki Culture Telecasting and the Nagasaki Shimbun (October 21 print edition). The coverage also featured Digital Nomad Nagasaki, the prefecture's digital nomad program planned and run by yugyo inc.

About NAGASAKI NOMAD FEST

NAGASAKI NOMAD FEST was planned and hosted by the NAGASAKI NOMAD FEST Organizing Committee (Executive Chair: Masami Yoshida), a voluntary group founded by five local community managers. The festival grew out of the local community's own initiative following last year's Digital Nomad Nagasaki, and this year it was incorporated into the program as an official event welcoming participants. Around 20 digital nomads and some 80 local business people took part, joining dialogue sessions organized around four themes: culture, education, business and peace.

Coverage

NBC Nagasaki Broadcasting reported on the program as a monitor tour in which digital nomads travel across the prefecture for about a month from October 18. Now in its second year, the program drew more than 200 applications from 50 countries, and 20 freelancers and entrepreneurs were selected. The article includes comments from CEO Ryo Osera, a returning participant from last year, and Executive Chair Masami Yoshida. The report was also distributed on Yahoo! News Japan.

NCC Nagasaki Culture Telecasting focused on the day of the event, highlighting product development that grew out of exchanges with digital nomads, such as NAGASAKI ORIGAMI — origami paper upcycled from kimono fabric by Shichi & Kaitori Maeda.
