RAMEN TECH 2026 featured in the Nikkei — in a look back at 16 years of Fukuoka City's startup policy

We are pleased to announce that RAMEN TECH 2026, the international startup festival for which yugyo served on the organizing secretariat alongside Fukuoka City, Zero-Ten Inc., and Zero-Ten Park Inc., was featured in the Nikkei (Nihon Keizai Shimbun) digital edition on October 9, 2026.

The article, "Fukuoka City leads Japan in business start-up rate after pioneering startup support — 16 years of the Takashima administration," traces the city's startup policy since its 2012 "Startup City Fukuoka" declaration. It highlights the third edition of RAMEN TECH, which opened on October 7 with a record 15,000+ expected participants, an expanded footprint into the Hakata area, and more than 100 events through October 11. The piece also covers Mayor Soichiro Takashima's appearance on stage on October 8 and an investor–founder matchmaking event held at ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. in Tenjin.
