yugyo CEO Ryo Osera brings RAMEN TECH 2026 to Kuala Lumpur — speaking at Japan Day in KL, sharing Colive Fukuoka's track record

From September 5 to 8, 2026, yugyo CEO Ryo Osera was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he brought Fukuoka City, Colive Fukuoka, and this October's RAMEN TECH 2026 to Japan Day in KL, held September 7 at WORQ Bandar Utama.

Japan Day in KL was co-hosted by remotework Malaysia, BEAMSTART, WORQ, RAMEN TECH 2026, and Fukuoka City. The morning brought a startup pitch final: four companies — CINCH, Inspec-Ther, Versa Asia, and Solnovation Analytics — made it through from more than 30 applications since the call opened in July. The panel named CINCH, a device-subscription platform for phones and tablets, the day's champion, with a return flight to Fukuoka, accommodation, a RAMEN TECH 2026 event pass, and a seat at the RAMEN TECH Global Summit on October 7-8 among the prizes.

In the afternoon, Osera took the stage for a 10-minute pitch, "Fukuoka Now." He shared Colive Fukuoka 2025's track record — ¥140M in economic impact, 57 countries, and more than 500 participants — and made the case for Fukuoka as a destination for digital nomads: a 10-15 minute ride from the airport to the city center, a cost of living well below other major Asian capitals, and a startup visa that allows a two-year stay. A roundtable, "A Reason To Be," followed, with speakers from both Fukuoka and Kuala Lumpur.

The next day, September 8, Osera visited SIDEC, Selangor's state digital economy agency, and the JETRO Kuala Lumpur office, building routes to bring Malaysian startups and digital nomads to RAMEN TECH 2026, running in Fukuoka October 7-11.
